Tom and Linda Anderson, the owner/operators of Parksley Livestock Supply, purchased a farm near Parksley and moved to the Eastern Shore of Virginia in 1978 with their three sons.  The 48 acre farm is a cow/calf operation producing beef animals.  They currently maintain a herd of about 20 head of cattle dominated by a huge Black Angus bull named Fletch.  Over the course of nearly 30 years, Tom, Linda and their sons, Tom, David and Todd, have grown hay, baby lima beans, sweet corn and cantaloupes for sale. The farm includes a small fruit orchard, a very large vegetable garden (especially when it needs weeding), about 15-20 laying hens and two wonderful trail horses, April and Vegas.  With so many animals to feed, trees to spray, gardens to plant, Tom and Linda felt first-hand the need for a local farm supply store.  So together they opened Parksley Livestock Supply in September 2005.
